The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Care Company

During the pandemic Metropolitan Grand Lodge & Chapter has kindly offered this page to help a charitable organisation feature their urgent message.

The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Care Company (RMBI Care Co.) provides residential care, nursing and residential dementia support to older Freemasons, their families and people in the wider community. We focus on resident wellbeing and quality outcomes.

Our Story – At RMBI Care Co., we provide residential care, nursing care and residential dementia support to older Freemasons, their families and people in the wider community. We treat each person as an individual. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy later life, and we are here to help our residents stay as independent as possible but also provide support when someone needs it. We have a passionate and skilled team who deliver the highest quality of care to our residents, and we live by our values: kind, supportive and trusted.

The Idea – We have been caring for older people for over 170 years. Our first care home opened in 1850 to support older Freemasons in South Croydon. Today we support over 1,000 residents across our 18 care homes in England and Wales.

Getting Involved – There are many ways to get involved with RMBI Care Co. From volunteering your time to supporting our charity by spreading the word about our services to Freemasons and their families who may need our support.

Respite care offer – We have a special offer available for any family looking for respite care in our Homes, offering the first week free for any stay of two weeks or more (subject to room availability.) Offer ends 30 June 2021.
